Lifeguards Needed

The need for lifeguards at Reno Swim & Slide has reached a critical point. Without proper lifeguard staffing, we will not be able to open for the 2025 summer season. 

In an effort to save the 2025 season, the City of Midwest City will be organizing a 2-day Certification & Training Camp. All training will be provided at no charge to the qualified applicants.

Qualified applicants who attend the camp will need to pass all requirements to be hired as a lifeguard this season (drug screening and lifeguard testing included). Registration will be limited to the first 20 qualified applicants. Please see all the details below and send us contact information if you are interested in being considered:

• Lifeguard Certification & Training Camp Dates: Friday, June 27 and Sunday, June 29
• Camp Times & Locations: TBD, will be confirmed when applicant qualifications are met
• All applicants must be 16 years old or older
• All applicants must complete a full application packet by 8 a.m., Thursday, June 26: 
  • Packets must be picked up in person
  • Midwest City Human Resources
  • 100 N. Midwest Blvd., 1st Floor
  • Online applications NOT ACCEPTED
• If we do not get a minimum of 20 applicants certified, Reno Swim & Slide will not be able to open to the public for Summer 2025
