Senior Center

Midwest City Senior Center front facade

The Midwest City Senior Center is a safe place of fun, community, and life shared with others. We offer programs, classes, events and activities for individuals age 60 and older who have a common interest in fellowship, leisure pursuits and mutual respect for one another.  See our monthly activities calendar below in the Supporting Documents.

As a member, the Senior Center encourages your involvement, ideas and input.

The Midwest City Senior Center offers daily lunches Monday through Friday. Participants must be 60 or older and registration for the program is required. You must have a reservation, at least 24-hrs. in advance, to join us for lunch. All diners are asked to check in at the desk inside the dining room with our volunteer to receive their lunch token, and then we ask that all participants be seated by 11:15 AM.  The lunch program is provided through the Oklahoma County Senior Nutrition Program.  The program asks for a $2.00 donation for each meal.  Our daily menu is below in Supporting Documents:

The Senior Center is not a storm shelter. If we have been forewarned of any upcoming severe weather in the area, we will clear the building and encourage our members to go to their own place of shelter. If we do not have enough early warning we will do our best to shelter in interior rooms without windows to ride the storm out.

Inclement Weather

The Senior Center follows the Mid-Del schools policies during inclement weather. If Mid-Del Schools are closed due to inclement weather and it is not possible for the busses to run, the Senior Center will also be closed. If they are closed and doing virtual learning for a reason other than inclement weather the Senior Center will be open.
