Citywide Garage Sale

Midwest City - Citywide Garage Sale 

• Dates: September 27-29, 2024
• Times: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (each day)
• Registration required (see form below)
• No permit required (will not count against two garage sale annual limit)
• No street closures allowed
• No blocking of sidewalks or other public rights-of-way
• Sales must be on personally-owned property or must have landowner permission
• Sales in gated communities must meet HOA requirements
• Sales in apartment complexes must be approved by property manager
• No signs will be issued by the City
• Homemade Signs Allowed:
  • Dimensions: 11"H x 14"W maximum
  • Sign (1) required at location of garage sale
  • Signs must be a minimum of 12' from the curb
  • Signs must be removed by sunset on September 29
• Parking tips:
  • No soft surface parking
  • No blocking of mailboxes
  • No parking at neighbors' homes
• Sales tax requirements:
  • Sales tax must be remitted to the Oklahoma Tax Commission
